Khizar is an internationally educated Physiotherapist who graduated in 2007 and completed his post-graduation in Physiotherapy. He has vast experience working in different hospitals and clinics. A descendant of the Eager family who built a house on Dundas Street East in 1870, it seemed right to Ruth Tassie Jarvis to practice Osteopathy close to the heart of the Waterdown.. Ruth graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy with a Master’s in Osteopathic Manipulation diploma and is OstCan certified. The programme entailed over 1,000 hours of clinical practice in four years of education. Ruth has worked in Blyth, Burlington and Watertown. She enjoys educating patients about osteopathy as she works to assess and treat each person.

Amber obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1992 from McMaster University followed by a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy) degree in 1996, summa cum laude. During the past 20 years, Amber has worked in two hospitals; Stratford General and Henderson General (ICU) in Hamilton. She has also provided physiotherapy care to patients in the community, as well as working at private clinics. With her keen interest in women’s health issues, Amber had the opportunity to consult at the new Maternity Centre in Hamilton, teaching women how to prepare for childbirth. Amber is also an authorizer with the Assistive Devices Program of Ontario. Through this government funded program, Amber can assess clients who require walkers. A strong believer in lifelong learning, Amber also completed certification in Medical Acupuncture in order to provide this service in her practice and recently certified as a birth Doula.

Velan has the knowledge both through Massage Therapy School and work experience to help anyone willing to do what is necessary to break the pain cycle, recover from injuries and eventually prevent them via Massage Therapy, Rehabilitation and Self-Care. With many years of experience, Velan is here to help you first, and then help you to help yourself.

He graduated from Mohawk College in 2017 and started his career as an RMT in 2019. Velan uses his extensive knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics to assess and treat anything from body aches and pains to more severe debilitating injuries, which often come with chronic pain.

He has called Hamilton home since 2014. Originally from a French Island called Reunion, where he spent the first 18 years of his life, he then moved to Metropolitan France for a couple years, and ultimately continued his journey to Canada.
